There has never been a better time to be in the aged and disability sector.  With the advent of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) more people than ever are being provided with funding to support living in the community.  Similarly, with the first of the baby boomers turning 70 in 2016, our aged population are to increase steadily for the next 25 years and an increased demand for services to support them.

Whilst there are opportunities in the sector, their are also challenges.  Injuries amongst care givers supporting people with disabilities are high.  29% of all workplace injuries in Australia are manual handling in nature costing $104 million in NSW alone.  Are your workers compensation premiums contributing significantly to this?
