This webinar series will firstly unpack the factors to consider in the manual handling process. It will examine specifically the needs of the client and things to consider when meeting those needs. It will also examine the needs of care workers and the factors at play that make them one of the most at risk occupational groups in Australia both from a musculo-skeletal perspective and stress vulnerability.
Session 1: What do health professionals need to think about for their clients in addressing manual handling concerns?
Session 2: What do health professionals need to think about for a care worker addressing manual handling concerns?
Session 3: What are the common challenges health professionals have with addressing manual handling concerns with their clients?
Session 4: What factors do health professionals need to consider when working with clients in a manual handling capacity under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?
